Hot off the heels of celebrating the start of 2023, @runforchinatown@oldmanrunclub and @nikenyc are coming together to welcome in the year of the Water Rabbit.
To kick off the holiday, we will come together on the eve of Lunar New Year, Saturday January 21, for a nighttime 5K community run. Our journey through the night will lead us to the Midnight Madness Lion Dance Parade by the @ny.chinesefreemasons. A fixture in the Chinatown community since 1956, the New York Chinese Freemasons Athletic Club (洪青) will awaken the neighborhood with the beat of drums and roar of lions, letting everyone know that it's about that time of the year again.

5K Community Run | Saturday January 21, 10:00 pm -Meet: 10:00 pm at @noree.nyc, 274 Grand St -Start: 10:30 pm -Estimated Finish: 12:30 am at Noree; food and drink available for purchase
Bag check and bathrooms will be graciously provided by Noree. Please keep in mind that we will be intercepting the Midnight Madness Lion Dance Parade, so there will be some shuffling, standing, confetti popping involved. Dress appropriately and be ready to celebrate.
