We are excited to be partnering with OMRC and Nike this year to share this event with even more runners and provide even more impact in our community!

Run for Chinatown Presents: RICE, RICE, BABY
RICE, RICE, BABY is a marathon prep event for runners who want to build confidence ahead of their race and deepen their understanding of the nutritional power of culturally familiar Asian foods. During this event we hope to:
Provide information about the nutritional benefits of foods that are culturally familiar to Asian marathoners through a nutrition seminar hosted by Eling Tsai MPH, RD, CDN;
Boost the confidence of marathon runners by providing insights and resources on what to expect for their upcoming race through the wisdom of Run Coach Kai Ng, USATF and RRCA Level I and II certified running coach; and
Provide an inclusive space for runners to partake in an Asian meal together, ask questions, share experiences, and learn about mindful eating.

2nd Annual Mid-Autumn Mile
The Mid-Autumn Mile is a 1-mile run/walk on the streets of Chinatown to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the most popular holidays in many Asian cultures. Friends, family, and neighbors will unite as one community to run/walk 1 mile beneath the beautiful glow of Chinatown’s lanterns. It'll be a spectacular way to complete the last mile of our Run for 21 Challenge!
